Speak more not less

Always speak more rather than less and take every opportunity to
speak fluently and accurately. The examiner needs to hear of lot of the candidate’s speaking so that they can have a good sample of the candidate’s speaking ability on which to award a band score.

Speak at a natural pace and volume

Try to be as natural as possible and the volume and speed should
be the same as if you were speaking to one of your friends. If you speak fast when you get nervous, try to relax and speak slower as often speaking too quickly can be hard to comprehend.

Try to make a positive impression

Be positive when you are in the room and try to make a good
impression, be polite and friendly and try not to appear too
nervous. Being positive leads to confidence, and it is this
confidence which will allow you to do your best.

Be prepared

Be prepared! Remember there is no such thing as luck, only
preparation meeting with opportunity. Prepare yourself for the test by practicing some of the sample speaking topics and questions.

Stay calm and don’t panic
