I usually go there on Monday evenings at about seven o’clock for dinner with my family. My favourite dish is fried chicken and french fries. Transition from ‘Fact’ to ‘Opinion’. Now the Fact part of the speech is over and the candidate now needs to use a transition structure to show the change from ‘Fact’ to ‘Opinion’. I like Lucky Burger for many reasons which I will explain as follows:- Opinion ( Why?) 5. Why you like it? Now the speech focuses on the most important part of any speech, the description of why you like it. This is the most important part of any speech and must contain good reasons as well as good adjectival usage to describe the restaurant appropriately. a) food – Western, clean, delicious, tasty b) service- quick, efficient c) price- reasonable, reasonably-priced d) staff-friendly, polite, helpful e) atmosphere- pleasant Here suitable Nouns are chosen which express the reasons why the candidate likes the restaurant. These Nouns are then complemented by suitable Adjectives, which provide the reasons to support the ideas. First, Lucky Burger has Western food, which is very clean and delicious. Second, the price is reasonable. For example, I can buy a hamburger meal with fries and coca cola for only 1usd. Third, it has extremely quick service. For instance, I never have to wait for a long time to get my order and usually receive my food within 5 minutes. Next, the staff are very polite, helpful and friendly. In this way, they are always smiling and make me feel welcome every time I go there. Last, it has an extremely pleasant atmosphere. In this regard, it has big comfortable seats and is fully air-conditioned. Conclusion To sum up, Lucky Burger is my favourite restaurant because it has tasty food, reasonable price, fast service, friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. It is fantastic. Here the main points are summarized and the speech ends on a positive note by using a positive opinion adjective at the end.
